what strings to give a spector a jazzy sound?

spector legend six, my new gigs require that, and ive been on the same strings for 8 months, no regard to price

By jazzy do you mean for it to sound like a double bass? Flats for that. TI makes a set.

Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Flats are the strings that airrick was referring to. If you do a search (I can't remember where exactly it is) you can find a bunch of threads where people talk about the cheapest places to buy Jazz Flats. They're expensive strings but can last a very very long time.
