what strings for a mike lull pj5 with Passive electronics

I like what come on it think dr or Ernie Ball as they have a gold end ...I dont know I'v only used D'Addario . I have xl170 ex on there and went back to the ones that came on there as they had a deep tone....the bass was used by the way ...I think I did good for $1,000 1993 or 94 one small ding on headstock

I have a PJ5 passive and play XL165 with a .96 Gator pick. Check out the Tonestyler passive tone control. It can dial in incredible piano wire sound or 60s flats thump with these strings/pick.

DR roundwound with round core, gets my vote, Ernie Balls roundwound if wanting little bit of accent on crunch.

I agree. DR Sunbeam Nickels would be a great choice. That's all I use on my Lull MV4
