What Strings for my Jazz

Hey all.....my low e string busted/unraveled @ the bridge while i was practicing they're Fender Original bass strings.........i play in a metal/rock/pop band which strings would sound better for my bass [Fender MIM Jazz] n e suggestions would be appreciated.

I use and recommend Ernie Ball Slinkys. D'Addarios are good too. I play hard rock/pop and those strings work fine for me.

I have DR Hibeams on my two jazz basses and I really like them. They are very bright at first but mellow nicely in about a week. I don't like them super bright but not dull sounding either. The DR are somewhere right in the middle.
