What strings are on my Lakland?

I just bought a used 2002 55-94 dlx Lakland...the strings on it have great playability and have a comfortable tension and a semi-smooth feel . The guy I bought it from doesn;t know which brand/type of string it is. The color of the strings is towards a gray dull color vs a shiny, perhaps age.

I put some DRs on it and the tension was too tight and sound too bright. Would like to go back to something simlar to the originals.

Anyone have any ideas on whats strings would come close given my limited description above?...thanks in advance
