What Strings for my NEUSER Courage 6

Sign in to disble this ad
well I have this neuser courage 6 string. haven't played it for a while. there are bass boomers on it, 30-40-60-80-100-130.

my G&L climax (main rock/blues axe) has recently received a set of fender flats which i have fallen in love with.

so now that my neuser needs new strings, i wonder if it made any sense to put flats or alike on a such bass.

what i expect from the new strings:

-earthier, richer tone than the boomers
-slapping is no priority anymore but should be possible if needed
-nice full tone for jazz soloing
-not lush, loose sounding, i want a tight bass sound.

would TI jazz flats give me this? or d'addario half rounds? any other suggestions?

edit: they should last forever. do i want too much?
