What strings are these?

Sign in to disble this ad
Had these strings on one of my basses since I aquired it , 6 months on the strings sound as good as when I got the bass. The strings are roundwounds with a red silk , they are quite bright (silvery looking) however I would be suprised if they were nickles as they are pretty bright. By the way I think they are the stock strings and believe that this may be a squier jazz bass , although the neck has been changed so I dont know for sure
Anyone?

If you mean the silk colour, that has faded on some of the strings due to the age of the strings

I think they are mismatched, too, maybe Rotos from different sets. The silks usually line up pretty closely at the headstock with a proper set.
