i just bought a Tacoma Thunderchief fretless with black round-wound (like silk on steel) they are not tape-wound. does anyone have any idea what they are? i love them but i dont know what they are to replace them.

how much texture do the rotosound 88s have? mine look and feel like a round wound.

The coating on the strings feels like silk? Like cloth?

If so, those would be Fender Nylon Filament 7120. Maybe the least discussed string out there.
