I would like to see a poll with string brands among roundwood strings, rather than string types. I don't really know which strings are most popular, but I'll put the ones I know. If there are other really popular strings, let me know and I'll add them.
-EDIT: Forgot them Ernie Ball strings. Bleh. :/ How can I edit the poll options? O_o

There are more too like Elites.

My other Squire has a set that has been on there equally long - they are probably Ernie Balls.
All of the other Basses I have recently purchased have whatever came on them and I have no idea what they are - I know one set is coated?
I have a new Pack of EB Slinkys to put on my VM Modded Jazz.
I am going to pick up a set of Rotos and a Set of LaBella's soon just to check them out - worry less about your strings and more about your playing. As Maki would say My 2 Cents.

Ken Smith Tapercore Steels
Rotosound RS66
Elixir Nanowebs

Ibanez GSR200 - LTD Stock strings (unsure of what they are; good sound and feel)
Dean 5 Strings Acoustic - DR Acoustic strings (Thanks to bassd00d!)
Squier P Bass - DR Black Beauties
LTD B-4E - Elixir heavy gauge
I voted for Elixirs because I really like them. The LTD stock strings come in second. I don't care for the coated DRs as much anymore. I'm going to put a different set of DRs on my P bass tomorrow because I've got a show to play at. I was considering some D'Addarios, but it seems that the DRs are quite popular. I guess it will come down to whatever I can get my hands on.

I did a quick search and it seems as though they come with GHS Boomers. Does that sound correct? If so, I may consider getting another set of those after experimenting with other strings.
