Hi there!

Can anyone tell me what kind of strings you got when you buy a Fodera

Monarch? And what set is the most similar with that on tension and feel?

Thanks a lot!

I believe that they will generally string them up with their "standard" set unless you specifically request something different. The "standard" 4-string set is stainless steel 45-65-85-105.

I prefer their nickel 40-60-80-100 set. Much lighter touch and warmer mids...

They come with Fodera strings (IIRC stainless steel, unless otherwise requested). IME they are not very tight , nor loose (sitting comfortably in the middle). I much prefer their Stainless steel tone to their nickel, but this is HIGHLY subjective

and I really love their nickels; best string I've played so far as far as I can tell.
