Most likely 45-105's. Theyre pretty much the most common gauge used and stock on instruments. Not sure if Ive tried one of those particulair Ibanez's, but ones I have played in stores have had this gauge too.

What tone change if any do you want new strings to give your bass? To me, ernie balls accent crunch, daddario diminish crunch, ghs keeps that as is and just give nice solid tone with excellent harmonics, rotosound while not as smooth in harmonics dept is like GHS but maybe a bit clankier or driven sound, dean markley blue steels if you want more treble content while maintaining crack of thunder sound.

I would like my bass to have a bit more deeper tone...Now that I know what strings are on it, I believe I want to go up to a medium gauge...I was thinking about getting the DR Black Medium Gauge Strings...Ive heard from a couple guys that they are good strings...

If money is an obsticle, and for most of us, it is, try some Dunlops or one of the twofer packs of D'Addarios XL 170. Nickles are nice and these will be close to what you are currently playing.
