What is your favourite bass string?

So yeah i want to know which string is your favourite on your bass? You can choose from the lowest the f# to the highest the f string. well i know there are even higher tuned strings but lets forget those experimentel things.

I tell beginners to stop playing H flats when they dont fret right or hit strings too hard

The A string. It's the first string I play once I pick up my bass. Plus it sounds the best on my bass.

sounds great on myschecter diamond series, not to deep and not to high pitched. And I also love the E string ^^^in general. Any fret on E is good to

I prefer the G string. Mostly because it adds a lot of flavor, nice melodies/riffs, and is is great for octaves from A string

the G cause i always check the balance of all my strings high to low when I pick up a bass, Four string of course

I chose A, as did the majority or respondents. Very telling-LOW MIDS RULE!
