what sounds better on an Ibanez gsr200....flats or rounds????

Depends on what you're going for... I play on pretty worn in flats, but I also don't slap and I go for a vintage "thud-y" sound. As with anything else, it's all about preference and scenario (what kind of bands you're playing in/what sounds good in the mix w. the type of group you're playing w.)

Trial and error my friend. Trial and error.

yea i play gospel, and i played both rounds and flats, but i heard that certain basses sound better with certain types of string on them.....thats why i asked. but i like the bright tone of rounds....
