What's on your Woody?

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently purchased a used Epiphone Allen Woody Signature. I thought that a set of TI Jazz Flats would be cool, but now that I've done it, I'm not so sure.

What type of strings do you Woody owners use? Any idea what Allen (rip) used?

While I'm at it...I've found that the bass still has a fairly bright tone, even with flats...how do you set your tone control?

Woody strings

For what it's worth...in the liner notes of the "Dose" and "Life Before Insanity" CDs, in the "We would like to thank" section, both GHS and DR strings are mentioned. I am pretty sure that Warren uses GHS so it leads me to beleive that Woody used DR's.
