When changing string brands do you normally have to make truss rod adjustments?

When you change the brand, still using steel roundwound strings medium gauge, do you normally have to make adjustments to the truss rod or action? I'm debating on whether or not chaning my strings before a show to prevent possible adjustments. Thanks for the help,

I may be just anal retentive, but i would change the strings 3 weeks in advance and beat the hell out of them.

I've never had to do trust rod adjustments, even from using .090 to jumping to .110....I was probably blessed with a good bass and good set up

It's really at your own discretion, I usually do action and everything, and if the action is too high, that's when i start doing rod adjustments...but this is something i've only done on gutiars, that is, they're more tempermental. But it wouldn't be such a bad idea, beat up the strings, set intonation, and if a rod adjustment is necessarry, go for it...

just remember, lefty loosey!
