Sign in to disble this ad
Some time ago, someone mentioned an online shop that was selling strings, and the price they were selling LaBella flats was very low, much less than juststrings, etc...
I have lost the bookmark to this shop, and couldn't find the thread in which I saw that.... Can someone help?
Thx...

They don't have the gauge I was looking for (Std 45-105), maybe they're just out of it? but their price is by far the lowest I've seen so far...
Thx to everybody for helping.

I don't know about their flats being the same as LaBella, they may be manufactured by LaBella but they are really inexpensive. I had a set of their metal flats on my fretless 6 and they were OK, but I didn't like them much, and replaced them with a set of LaBella nylon tapes which I like a lot better. |

My guess is that it costs less for them to just package their own strings, more or less as they are, in the Carvin packaging. I've found the only difference between the Carvin nickels and the comparable LaBellas (slappers, I think) to be the price. Maybe the color of the silking. The value is improssible to ignore! |

They have added a mysterious "handling and processing charge" of 10.99 per order, which is about the same as their normal shipping charge per item, but I think you only pay it one time per order, whereas their normal shipping charge applies to every item on the list. So if you buy a few sets of strings and maybe a stand or something (good prices on those too), you are ahead. |
