Does anyone know if these are still being sold anywhere? The ones with the picture of a bass on the package.

Good luck. Check your local shops. I cleaned out the Indianapolis area and scored about 15 sets. the new ones do not have the same tone as the old ones.

The best bet will be to search local stores, as I don't think any online shops have any left.

Me, I've made the switch to DR Sunbeams, and couldn't be happier. Good luck in your search

Dead-serious here - REAL 7250NPSs are getting to be a real challenge to find - but let me recommend the Roto RS45s as the better choice.

They will sound like a REAL 7250 did and they will be much more consistent too in QC.

The 7250s were made by Martin or Fender-Mexico (for a short time) and D'A.

Anything that passes for a Fender 7250 should be looked upon with great suspicion.

D'A is PURPORTED to be the current jobber making the 7250s, but I'm not totally convinced.

The Indonesian 7250 NPS versions are far better than the OE 7250 NPS strings on a MiM or MiA Fender for quality and tone at the moment.
