Where can I find (buy) some Fender 8255's (4 string)?

I've been looking all over the internet. The guy I emailed at Fender said they never made them. I don't think he knows what he's talking about.

Please send me some info. I'm dying to try them.

Are you thinking 8250's? They make those. Never heard of 8255's.

8250's are the same gauge, but the are made for string through body basses. 8255's are for string through bridge basses. I have a medium scale bass (string through body), so I figure the 8255's would be a better fit.

Hummm...didnt see them on the fender site.
Wait re-read this...Edit: 8250's are the standard fender bass stings for strings thru bridge and i am sure will work thru body .Are you sure this 8255 isnt a string made for body thru basses or an extended set? That would make be oppisite from what you said and from what i understand correct.

Thanks...thats wild. I use 7150s and have used 7250s also .They are pretty easy to find great strings ,cheap and sound great. They are the go to fender bass strings in my neck of the woods just a reg old long scale set. The set you are looking for..wow never seen those...good luck.
