Where do I fin D'Addario XL170-6SL?

I can't finds them anywhere. They still see, to have the steel super long 6 string set, but not the nickel.

I could buy the 5 string super long set and add the .032 single, but that will get expensive.

Hmmm, I was going to suggest juststrings.com but they only have EXL170-6, not SL.

Maybe you can ask your local shop to order it.

Tony at Planetbass.com was more than willing to order a DR set I was looking for, maybe he will do the same for you.

It's odd it's not available on any website.
Most six-string basses nowadays are 35" scale it seems.
The B & E strings are just a hair too short in the regular long scale.

that is the one thing I hate about Di'addario. For some reason long scale is 34" where that is the standard scale length used. I still use them on my RBX but the e string has one taper hanging off of the nut. Not a big deal until I need an open b.

Marcopalla, Those are Prosteels. I've seen those. It appears they stopped making
NICKEL 6string sets in Super Long Scale.

I'm prefer the feel of Nickel.

Roscoe 6 string basses are 35" scale and come with D'Addario strings. I would talk to TBer "Gard", tell him your string length and he can measure the strings he has in the shop to see if they will work for your bass.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.

I called the local GC to ask. The guy said he'd call me back...nope.
I went in yesterday to get some patch cables. I told them I was never
called back about it. The accessory guys just shrugged there shoulders
and said "weird". They weren't rude per se, just not that anxious to get ot the bottom of it. I would've bought a box of them.
