I'm talking about bassist who detune a string down the C#.
I'm asking bassist who have an actual low C# string on their bass.
If you use one what type of music are you playing?

I use .110 Ernie's but I'm trying out some .106 flatwounds to give my fangaz a break.

I think he might mean the C# an octave below the one you're playing.

I tune my low string to either C or A. Have an EB slinky 105 right now. We play stoner tech metal.
