Hey guys.

I am a big fan of Optima gold strings. They are bright, articulate, After a few hours of playing feel really smooth.

(And yes the pickup covers coming int he post and gold thumb rest

I use 95-35's Though i wish they would make a 90/30 pack.

I also wish they would use better packaging, it seems really cheap for such an expensive set of strings! I used to use blue steels but man. I dont think i'll play anything else now!

Do they make gold flatwounds at all?

Rob.

A couple years ago, I got a promotional deal on 15 sets at $10per set. Decent strings and they sure look purty, but after they were gone, it was back to my Rotosounds, which for me sound better, feel better, and last longer. Not a bad deal at $10 a set, but at retail pricing, I woulda been very dissapointed. YMMV.

And yes, they are available in a flatwound set.

Well, as i am the reason you use em, you know i do :P

lovely punchy strings, great clarity, and not least, they look awsome..

I think they last very long, i have had Rotosounds, and though it is a while ago, i feel that the Optimas feel and play much nicer, and last just as long.
