Who Uses Mixed String Set on Their Basses

After a discussion about the high cost of Strings for 5 string basses, Snarf replied.

Which made me wonder how many others are doing the same, the reason why and the end results, especially 5 string players.

i only play a four string but i like to use a .35 G string but my local dont get full sets with that gauge so i by a pack of .45s and a .35 from a bulk box then i sell the .105's at college get £2 a string lol
