Will the DR Low Riders fit on a Lakeland 55-01?

I bought some and they won't fit if you string through the body. I ended up buying the Lakland nickels. Sound and feel fine, $22 off the site.

They wont go thru the body but will they go thru the birdge? If so I will be looseing the sustain right? Thanks for your help

I suppose you might lose some, there is some debate as to how much. I think it depends on several other factors also. If you don't string through the body, they should fit. The b string was a bit short, the outer winding ended just as the string got to the nut. EADG were ok though.

Anybody else have some experience here?
