Wimpy strings

Hey everybody-

I play with a pretty heavy right hand and am finding that my 45-105 Sunbeams sound great but are just too flimsy for me. I was thinking about going to the DR/Bootsy Signature set (50-110 w/Hex core) but am wondering anyone has any other suggestions.

i play in an eight piece funk/jam band, mostly finger-style or with my thumb (think Monk Montgomery not Larry Graham).

Try some Sadowsky blue label bright nickels or stainless steels. Hex core strings with enough slinkiness to be comfortable but not flimsy.
