worried bout my a string

Sign in to disble this ad
when i got my five string, a vintage v950 bubinga thing (i think), i decided to give it a good clean and stuff cus it was dusty from being in the shop.... so i took off the strings and did my stuff and it was all gravy until...

i was putting my a string back in when the top of the string snapped off.....just...snapped off.... i was bricking it but it still went on and works fine and everything but it only wound round the peg once....and i know it should go round at least 2 or 3 times

is this a problem?

help!

at most if it breaks later you'll have to change it, but i think its fine.

If there is not enough tension on the string just buy a single string and replace it. If it's okay, you can leave it until you replace the entire set.
