Xtra light strins on geddy lee?

Hey I play a geddy lee and I recently put dm blue steel xls on them. It sounds pretty good but way to bright.....anyone think this is a bad idea?

...Mmm no? Wait for the strings to die, they always sound super zingy when you just put them on. You might need a setup if you went from a medium/heavy set to extra light ones.
