Brand? Size/gauge? Material?

What kind of tone do they give and/or why do you like them?

Thanks for any suggestions or opinions.

Rotosound Trubass 88. It helps accentuate the deep bassiness of the guitar and makes it sound a lot like an upright. Might be an acquired taste though... especially because they're electric bass strings.

I've used four makes of acoustic bass string (Rotosound, Elites, D'Addario and currently Fender).

Gauge 45-65-80-100 for Fender and D'Addario and 40-60-80-100 for Rotosound and Elites.

All the brands sound excellent, and subtly different. I'd use any of them again. I'd probably prefer to go with the Rotos or Elites in future as I prefer the gauges. It feels more balanced. If I could find a gauge formation of 45-60-80-105 that'd be great for balance.
