your opinion: tenor strings on maple/rosewood?

Today was payday and I went to town @ juststrings.com

I ordered a set of sunbeam tenor strings (30,40,60,80)
and just for fun a set of fodera wooten sigs (40-95)

my two main basses are a roscoe beck w/maple board
and a lecompte bass w/rosewood board

I want one of these two to function as a tenor bass and the other to be a 'regular' bass- any advice on which one should get the tenor strings?

not a life or death decision but I'd like to hear people's opinions
