Arizona Bass Player's Festival and Workshop

Hi Patrick,
I'm going into to my Junior year of high school and found a link to the Arizona Bass Player's Festival and Workshop. I was really intrigued by it any I was wonder if you could give me some information about it, as I would love to attend. The Arizona Bass Players website seems to be malfunctioning currently so it was of no help to me other than to tel me it is going on during the first week of March next year. Thanks for the help, Eli.

Hi Eli!
Yes the ABPFW will be March 6-9, 2008. We will feature clinicians/performers that cross genres (in the past we have had F Rabbath, J Clayton, B Bromberg, L Gray, J Bradetich, F Proto, as well as myself. This year we will feature Catlain Rotaru, Joel DiBartolo, myself, and at least two, perhaps three other big timers, like Bromberg, R Reid, F Rabbath, or such... contracts are not yet set. The web site is sorta going, but we are in the process of incorporating and I am on vacation in New Mexico, so not able to fix the site yet. Just try the links, as some work, and most don't yet. Our old site no longer is available but you can see photos of the past, I think, on this site. Good luck to you and I hope you will consider coming to the ABPFW. Ciao!
PN

Thanks for all the help, I am really considering coming out, because I could also visit my grandparents in Pheonix, and I would really like to see Catalin Rotaru play again as I saw him play in Madison, WI as his going away show when he left from UW-Stevens Point to teach at ASU. I was pretty amazed by his playing. I'm also thinking of maybe entering the contest, could you tell me what level of playing is usually on display?
