Smile Hey Pat, how do I ship a double bass?

Hey Patrick,

I live in scottsdale, AZ. I actually went to the U of A from 2002 to 2006. a couple months ago I picked up a Samuel Eastman VB 95 from Milanos Music In Mesa. I am trying to sell this thing and it hasn't been played since I bought it. I got the thing for 3000 and am trying to sell it locally (tucson or phx) for 2000.

Do you know anyone who might be interested?

Also, if I end up selling this thing out of state, how would you pack it and ship it? What would you recomment?

But please let me know if you know anyone who is in the market for an upright bass like this. This is the website that has the model 95 (on the bottom of the site's page) http://www.eastmanstrings.com/eastma...ueleastman.htm

Thanks for the help!

-Mackey Martin

Steve Koscica in Phoenix (String Emporium) can help you out with this! Also try the Arizona String Shop.
