Rumano Solano Basses

Hi. Can you tell me anything about this bass constructor and his instruments? The thing is that I want to make my own double bass, and he is a native from my home land (Costa Rica ), so this could make my stuff easier because of the shipment and prices and other stuff (I still live in Costa Rica, and over here we only have violin/viola makers). It would be nice to have a good reference like yours.

Eternaly greateful.

Alberto

Sorry, no, I know nothing about this name bass. Perhaps try one of the dealers listed here on TalkBass (Golihur and others) and Don Robertsons Violin Shop (in Albuquerque) ... Robertsons knows about all there is to know about basses: www.robertsonsviolins.com (I think), or call them at 1-800-284-6546 and ask for Aaron.
Best to you.
