Southern Arizona Instructors

Professor Neher,
Could you recommend any bass instructors in Southern Arizona?
I'm 30 years old and plan on getting my first upright within the next month. I've been playing bass for over ten years but only messed with the upright one semester during college.
I live in Sierra Vista and work til 5pm Monday thru Friday. I'm assuming it's best to get lessons at least once a week to stop any bad habits from creeping up and was *hoping* somebody lived closer than Tucson. But Tucson is definitely do-able if it's my only option for a decent teacher.
Thanks a lot!

Micah

I found a former student of yours, Robert Matheson. Since he's currently studying with you, I'm sure you recommend him. If he's a fraud, I hope you'll tell me.

Hi!
Robert is a great choice. Also Jason Roederer and Noel DaSalla. See Arizona Bass Players site for more: www.arizonabassplayers.org. Join up too to get ABP benefits!
Best!
