Teachers in NYC

Hey Patrick

Can you recommend a classical teacher (or more) in the NYC area who would be acquainted with the Rabbath technique and open-minded, and a great classical player (meaning solo and orchestra).

Many thanks!

Alexis

Teachers in NYC

Hey there!
In New York there was a fellow that studied extensively with Rabbath, Nick Walker. I don't know if he is still there. PM to me and I will send what contact info that I have. Other great bassists, open to all music, include Jon Deak, Bill Ellison, Roger Wagner, John Feeney, Tony Falanga, Carolyn Freyer, Chunyang Wang, Carl Fink, Matthew Mairs, Ron Wasserman ... to name only a few. Inquire at Juilliard and Manhatten schools to see if any are open to private lessons.
Best of luck!
PN
