buffer preamp

Good Sir,

Have you any opinions on matching impedence between a piezo pickup and the amp.

I use a Fishman Full Circle into a Walter Woods or Mesa Walkabout.
I've been using a Raven Labs PMB-II as my buffer preamp. While it has a 10 meg-ohm input impedence, it's a 2 channel blender w/ EQ. The EQ can't be bypassed. I generally run it flat, but it's a bit redundant.

I need a box w/o EQ. Simple, but with the most potential for delivery of fat warm natural goodness.

Considering a Little Labs Multi Z PIP, or a Demeter Tube DI, both of which have 20 meg-ohm input imp.(27 with the PIP) available, and both of which are priced for the ruling class.

The battle continues.

Thoughts?

Contact the pickup manufacturer that you use and see what they recommend. There is so much out there it is hard to keep up.
