Hello,
Sky Guitars (940-387-2671) has a good reputation for repair in Denton. I recommend students use strings that they hear their favorite players use to get the sound they want. Every bass and player is different. I use Correlli by Savarez.

"I use Correlli by Savarez."

A couple of follow ups.

1. Which one - 380 or 370. Light, medium?

2. What do you like about them?

I use Corelli 370 F because they are clear, even across the range of the instrument, and sound great pizz or arco.
