The problem is, is that none of this gear is mine and its studio rack gear, and I would rather not go back to rack gear.
I have read a few of the feedback threads on here already, but sio far Ive not seen any talking about using gates or frequency bypass compression to reduce feedback.
Is anyone using any pedal forms of gates or dual compression, here?
What sort?
Thanks.

I think the guy who makes these is here on TB.

I'm not sure I understand why compression would be helpfull at all in the capacity to reduce feedback at high volumes with piezo pickups. Care to elaborate? |

But when combined with a gate, the signal is tightened up nicely by the compression and the gate cuts it off at a set point so no feedback during rests. |

| | | I was usig an ASIS compressor with gate...it's a great compressor, but it's a rack, and i don't like to carry it.... now, i'm using this one BEHRINGER BLE 100 - Thomann Cyberstore Español ...it's cheap and simple...no gate, but just a little bit of compressor to mix note and slap....on the other hand, i don't know it will work for feedback problems.... |

Dont personally have one yet personally. |

The problem most likely lies elsewhere, I'm afraid
