Cordes Lambert gone under?

I've been playing a lot of country and western lately, in central Texas it's easy to find a band to sit in with playing that style. Also, it's fun as hell. So I'm tailoring my rig toward that style, high action, popping and slapping in major pent. I'm trying to find very low tension strings for a very large bass (43+").

I've read a lot about Cordes Lambert weedwhackers but I haven't heard a word from their myspace or the yahoo email accounts. Does anybody know how to get a hold of those guys? Have they gone outta business? Is there another source for good weedwhackers?

Also, has anybody got another set of slap strings they are interested in trading? I'm opening to trying anything. I've got a standing offer for Helicore Hybrids and Corellis in the wanted forum.

Thanks

I received some strings from him around a month ago. I think it's pretty much a one man operation. August is vacation month in France so that's probably where he is.

It's pretty much a one-man process, and he was on vacation from the middle of July through last Monday. He's still doing business, but he's apparently got a rather full inbox. I've talked to someone who's heard from him since he's gotten back. I'm waiting to hear back myself, but we've just got to be patient. He'll get back to you.
