does this interest you?

I'm wanting to start doing custom cosmetic work for guitars and basses of all sorts, so to start my portfolio I started on my own stuff. The pics i'm posting are my über cheap something or other upright that I have sanded down areas and did wood burning (spider webs) and marquetry panels (sugar skull). Just wanting some opinions

Saw your post on rockabillybass.com. Nice work; cool technique. I bought a CCB just for "stunts" and something like this would be perfect. I've been looking for decoration ideas and this is a good one.

I live in northeast Oklahoma.

Thanks for the nice comments! I'm in the process now of putting a metallic candy apple red finish on the front and back with pearl black trim and headstock. I don't know how much the average person would charge for this kind of work, or of anywhere else to get it done. Does anybody else know?

Haha if you are willing to do some serious work, eBay has dirt cheap basses all the time. That's the way I went. And after resetting the neck twice and Building a new soundpost and lots of bridge work, it doesn't sound too terrible
