having trouble getting a good slap sound

I've been working on slapping on and off for about a year and working hard on it now. The problem I have is when double slapping and going fast, I hear my fingertips hitting the fingerboard instead of the slap-getting my hand in position for the next pluck of the string. Anyone else have that problem? I've tried raising the bridge but that doesn't help. Any ideas?

Hi.

Same for me, but I don't view it as a problem.

Regards
Sam
