Just a thought?

With his slapping technique, would Fieldy(Korn) also make a good upright player?

Douchbag. See I can name call too! I was just being stupidly silly. I know it's not the same thing. Disregard as a serious post.

Regarding Fieldy - only his normally stupid posture with the bass could translate to a DB, his technique would need some serious fixing and crucially - that clunky sound he produces comes from smacking the strings against the frets.

So - no :P

I suspect this young 'Quorn' fellow, whoever he may be, may damage the fine varnish surface of his bass with punk rock buckles and studs and whatnot, so no, not an ideal upright player.
