new rockabilly listserver

hey

there is a new email list promoting discussion among rockabilly fans, promoters, and musicians: the rockabilly-L. use the list to discuss the music, lifestyle, and anything else having to do with rockabilly and related music. promote your gig, review a show, discuss a band, talk about recordings, tell us about your hair-care products, describe your tattoos, whatever you want--just relate it to rockabilly.

to subscribe, follow the prompts at http://groups.google.com/group/rockabilly-l/about

this will undoubtedly be a big list soon, so get in now, post early and often, and help get the ball rolling!

thanks!

kip

Excellent Kip ! I'll check in once in awhile. I ain't really a billyrocker bass player (just a wannabe ) but I really respect the slappers that do that stuff, especially the guys who work with Wayne Hancock and Hank III and the originals like Bob Moore and Joe Zinkan. Thanks for helping with the list. I have learned a lot and regularly lurk at the bluegrass bass list you started: http://groups.google.com/group/bgBass-L . I really hope the rockabilly list is a great success and brings them lovable hard-slappin' bassers outta the woodwork .
