Slap Bass DVD by Lee Rocker

I am looking to learn how to play slap bass. I came across this DVD and would like to know if anyone has used it. It's called "Rockabilly Slap Bass taught by Lee Rocker".

I appreciate the feedback,

Hi.

Unless You have a very high moral standards, I'd suggest to "try before You buy" the product if You know what I mean.

Sure it's a classic, and done by a legend (for some anyway ), but I personally found it lacking quite a bit compared with what You find on You tube for example.
I'm a self taught hack player, so You can take my comment with that in mind.

IIRC and AFAIK, the sound on the instructional video is miked, but on live and on the records Lee relies mostly on a magnetic PU with a FB click-PU for the combined sound.

Regards
Sam

I would take Eric's advise regarding anything that had to do with music! He's a hell of a player and a cool cat besides!
