I'd like to give a shout out to all of you guys who were in my bass seminars in Connecticut, Virginia and Chicago throughout the summer. I had a blast teaching and hearing you guys play. Some heavy grooves and improvisations went down. KEEP THE FUNK. Hope to see you next year. Feel free to drop a note. For those of you whom picked up the Total Jazz Bass book, or for that matter, any of the others, let me know what the results are.

Keep playing!

Best,
Dave

Thanks a lot for everything this week, man.

The Total Jazz book is excellent. I made the advanced Jazz Ensemble for school this year (even though I don't feel I deserve it), so I've been shedding the hell out of this book.
