Good preamp to use with an ampeg cab

I really want to purchase the Ampeg SVT-410HE bass cab because Ive heard lots of good things about it. But that leaves me without enough bank to buy a decent ampeg preamp, what other preamps do you think would mesh well with this cab? guide me ray...

My amp of choice is Aguilar...

my advice is to bring your cab to music store (or one that sells it) and simply try different amps with that cab. Every player is different and you should seek out what works (sounds) best for you and what you do.
