I was wondering what you're currently up to. I've seen the myspace page for the "Dual Frequency Project" with Don Maloney. Are yall doing an album?

What's next

I am currently working on a CD with guitarist Don Maloney. I also am starting to put together material for my next solo CD as well as starting a fusion band.

Ultimate Slap Bass

Unfortunately I have no plans for a DVD, book, etc. at this time. I do get many requests for some video footage and I am looking into how I can get some videos of me playing so I can post them on my sites. I'll keep ya posted on when that happens.

There is a new book out that is the best I've seen (in my opinion) on a lot of the newer slap techniques such as double thumbing, doble popping, etc
It's called "ULTIMATE SLAP BASS" by Stuart Clayton and it's available at www.basslinepublishing.com. It comes with two CDs and it contains 227 exercises/grooves in the styles of myself, Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten to name a few. It also features exclusive interviews with Marcus Miller, Mark King, Stu Hamm and your's truely..LOL

Anyone interested in slap would really dig it!
