Question 5 string and tuning in fifths

Hello Everyone!

I'm looking for a specyfic double bass string set (from C32,703196 Hz):
C, G, D, A, e.
String C-A are available, but string "e" isn't.

Deos anyone knows where can I buy such string (some internet shop or string maker) and how much costs such set or single string.

Yan

Something comes to mind... is there such thing as a high c "solo" string? you would only need to tune that one step higher. Maybe what I just said is plain stupid, don't know

A five string, fifths tuned, piccolo bass...I think you'll be pushing your luck with that one.

SuperSensitive is now making some high E/F strings for DB. They're basically super-long cello A strings. Thank Jesse of Ergo Instruments for talking them into it!

Check out Silvio Dalla Torre www.silviodallatorre.com
He has a great web sight & information on 5th tuning, bassetto & strings for 5th tuning. Pirastro may have strings you are looking for.
