| 7/8 bass & eudoxa E string help
I recently purchased a 7/8 bass that I had put a full set of gut strings on. I was unhappy with the E string, so I purchased a Eudoxa E for it. Even though the literature says that it is made for 3/4 to 4/4 size basses, it would not fit, but when I tried a piastro pizz E string, it fit fine. Has anyone else experienced this kind of a problem? It seems that if it is advertised to fit a 4/4 bass, it should have worked, especially since both strings come from the same manufacturer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
