Anima's around Ann Arbor/Detroit

Anybody reasonably close to Ann Arbor, MI currently have animas on their bass? I'm really interested in these strings, but am loath to drop the money to try them cold. If there is somebody, do you think we could meet up?

Thanks,
Ben

(Mod's: I wasn't sure whether this should be in Strings or Miscellaneous)

Velvets in A2

Ben, I think Shannon Wade of the Hot Club of Detroit plays these. I think... might be Garbos, though.
Anyway, that band is definitely worth checking out regardless of what he uses.
What are you using now?
Cal
