Flat Chromesteel is white with red spiral.
But check the Pirastro website. They list all their colors with their string information.

The new FCS are white with the red spiral. I don't know what the Original FCS colours are.

Try Quinn violins string identifier. Quinn says Pirastro Chromcor.

The Original FCS are white with a purple spiral.

Igor had another string ID thread, and it was dark green, so it was a Chromcor.
However, in this one he says it's light green.
The Evah Pirazzi is light green, but with a black spiral.

In the Jazzer set, the A string is light green at the tailpiece, and black at the tuning peg.
Since his is red, it'd be a D, according to Pirastro's tone color coding.
