Does anybody know what strings Edgar Meyer uses?

I think he uses a combination of old barbed wire and weed-whacker line.













(Just jokes, of course, Sleeper. Riffing on E.M.'s reported penchant for $10 Chinese bows.)

Spirocores on the bottom(E,A). Flexocores on top(D,G).

He seems to use a special tuning though. EAEA?

Sure it does. The lower strings are in orchestral tuning and his uppers are solo tuning. It obviously works for him.
