Aquilacorde gut and Nylgut strings ?

Hi, I came across this Italian maker of gut strings http://aquilacorde.com.

They also make a synthetic gut string called Nylgut that looks interesting (and a LOT cheaper than their gut strings). I just ordered a set, so I'll post a review when they arrive.

At the moment I'm playing on Labella plain gut G and D, with Innovation SuperSilver E and A. The Innovations don't blend too well with the gut.

Not that it has anything to do with double bass strings, but I put the Nylguts on all of my ukuleles, and it made a tremendous difference in the sound and volume of all of them.
